She muttered to herself, frustrated that the suggestion used hadn’t been effective. Okarun’s condition was steadily worsening, and the tense atmosphere inside the abandoned hospital grew heavier. A lingering worry about Momo’s safety began to creep in.

Despite being injured and exhausted herself, Aira tried to stay calm and reassured Okarun that she understood how he felt—not just the physical pain, but the growing concern for Momo, who still hadn’t returned. With no clear options left, all they could do was wait. In that stillness, Okarun suddenly experienced a sharp surge of pain, accompanied by an overwhelming sense of dread. He couldn’t explain it, but his body seemed to be warning him that something was terribly wrong.
