Overview
The Serpo, being an entirely male species, are incapable of natural reproduction. To maintain their population, they developed sophisticated cloning methods. Yet, cloning only creates genetic duplicates, hindering their species from evolving biologically. Recognizing the limitations of this process, the Serpo devised a more radical solution: abducting humans from Earth to extract their reproductive organs—colloquially termed “bananas”—in hopes of overcoming their reproductive dead end.
Physical Characteristics
The Serpo typically present themselves in humanoid disguises with gray skin and distinctly masculine features. Their attire is uniform: white collared button-up shirts neatly tucked into gray dress pants, complemented by leather belts and brown shoes. Their facial features are unsettling, with thin lips stretched into unnervingly wide smiles that appear unnaturally fixed.
Beneath these disguises, the Serpo’s true forms are far more alien in appearance. Their heads are elongated and slug-like, with sharp angles and pronounced, fleshy lips that frame rows of broad, prominent teeth. Their torsos and shoulders are wide and sharply contoured, while black markings cover much of their bodies. Each hand possesses two fingers and two thumbs, and their feet end in clefted shapes. One of their most striking features is their crystalline, headlight-like eyes, which vary in color from individual to individual—ranging from pink, yellow, and cyan to red, green, and purple.

Psychological Characteristics
The Serpo exhibit aggressive and forceful behavior when abducting humans, yet they remain entirely unaware of the cruelty of their actions, genuinely believing their methods to be peaceful. Their preference leans toward abducting female humans rather than males, and they express disdain toward individuals who resist, viewing such behavior as primitive and barbaric. Additionally, the Serpo harbor a keen fascination with humans who possess supernatural abilities granted by spirits, as these powers often exceed the capabilities of their own advanced technology.
Beyond their unconscious hostility toward humans, the Serpo display a blunt and detached demeanor when dealing with their subordinates. They show little regard for the well-being of those they employ, perceiving them as expendable and easily replaceable. This callous attitude is evident in their treatment of the Dover Demon, who was tasked with combating Momo, Okarun, and Aira. When the Dover Demon underperformed, the Serpo attempted to motivate him through punitive measures, including docking his salary and forcibly injecting him with a mutagenic fluid designed to enhance his speed and strength—despite his clear protests and unwillingness.
Biology
As artificially manufactured clones, the Serpo possess bodies that are primarily mechanical with partial organic components, as indicated by their ability to bleed. Their cybernetic physiology grants them remarkable resilience, enabling them to survive severe bodily trauma, including the loss of limbs or even their entire lower halves without succumbing to fatal damage.
Internal Tools
The Serpo’s mechanical bodies are equipped with an array of built-in tools, concealed within their groin and abdominal regions:
Reproductive Tool

This device takes the form of a mechanical appendage equipped with a retractable needle, specifically designed to extract reproductive organs—referred to as “banana organs”—from female humans through sexual intercourse. Additionally, the appendage can serve as a conduit to amplify the physical power of an alien, enhancing their strength and abilities.
Scissors

A sizable, mechanical pair of scissors designed explicitly for the removal of male humans’ genitalia.
Body Cables

Two needle-tipped cables capable of integrating a Serpo’s body with one or more living organisms, enabling a physical and biological fusion between the entities.
Data

The creation of a Serpo that maintains the species’ standard appearance and behavior relies on the input of a specific dataset during the cloning process.
If this data is overwritten at the moment of their creation, the resulting Serpo takes on an alternate form known as This Man (ディス マン, Disu Man). In this form, the Serpo resembles a partially bald man with thick eyebrows, dressed in a zip-up sweatshirt and loose sweatpants. This transformation also affects their use of psychokinesis: rather than projecting energy by thrusting their hand forward or forming the letter “T,” they instead trigger their abilities by clapping their hands together.
Abilities and Powers
Super-Intelligence: The Serpo exhibit extraordinary intelligence, particularly in scientific and technological fields. Their advanced knowledge enables them to clone themselves, integrate mechanical tools within their bodies, and construct sophisticated spacecraft such as UFOs. Additionally, they possess the capability to engineer specialized devices, including those required to deploy the phenomenon known as Empty Space.
Psychokinesis

The Serpo possess potent psychic abilities, granting them the power to control objects and individuals with their minds. They can generate shockwaves, form protective or offensive psychic fields, and manipulate brainwaves. This latter ability is specifically employed during abductions, allowing them to induce physical arousal in humans as a preparatory measure before extracting their reproductive organs.
Techniques
Six Sense Organ (六根, Rokkon)

By extending their hand forward, the Serpo can emit powerful shockwaves capable of creating craters upon impact, using this technique as a ranged attack to strike their targets.
Serpoian Form Serpo-Grammetry (セルポ式測量法, Serupo-shiki Sokuryō Hō)

By positioning the fingers of their left hand against the palm of their right hand to form the shape of the letter “T,” the Serpo unleash an enhanced version of Six Sense Organ. This upgraded shockwave is significantly stronger, described by Aira as the sensation of being slammed into by an “invisible wall.”
Amazing Zone (すごいゾーン, Sugoi Zōn)

By synchronizing their psychokinetic abilities, the Serpo can generate a highly pressurized field capable of suppressing and neutralizing humans who possess yokai powers, effectively rendering them unable to resist or use their abilities.
Synopsis
Past
During the 1960s and 1970s, the United States military, with the aid of aliens who had survived the Roswell Incident, organized a study exchange program that sent twelve humans to Planet Serpo. Of the twelve, two perished on Serpo, while eight returned to Earth only to succumb later to the effects of the planet’s intense ultraviolet radiation. The remaining two chose to remain on Serpo, and their ultimate fates remain unknown.
Turbo Granny Arc
While at Nagi Hospital, the Serpo encounter Momo Ayase and forcibly abduct her, intending to extract her reproductive organs. Before the procedure can begin, Okarun, possessed by Turbo Granny, unexpectedly manifests from Momo’s phone and attacks the aliens. Though the Serpo manage to subdue Okarun using their psychic abilities, they resume their procedure on Momo. However, their manipulation of her brainwaves accidentally unlocks Momo’s latent psychic powers, allowing her to destroy their ship and defeat the Serpo.
Serpo Arc

Fascinated by Okarun’s supernatural abilities during his possession by Turbo Granny, the Serpo, accompanied by their subordinates—the Dover Demon and Nessie—track Okarun to his school with the intent of seizing his powers. Their plan is interrupted by Aira Shiratori, a spiritually attuned girl who wields the abilities of Acrobatic Silky. As Aira engages the Dover Demon, the Serpo use their combined psychokinesis to restrain both Okarun and Aira.
However, the situation shifts when Momo arrives and overrides the Serpo’s psychic powers with her own, enabling Okarun and Aira to resume their battle. To regain control, the Serpo forcibly mutate the Dover Demon to enhance its combat abilities, but the creature’s performance against Okarun and Aira’s coordinated attacks proves disappointing. The Serpo’s problems worsen when Nessie, hired specifically to counter Momo, unexpectedly turns against them. One Serpo is swiftly bisected while berating Nessie for its failure, and another is decapitated soon after, leaving the Dover Demon horrified by the sudden turn of events.

With only one member of the Serpo remaining, he utilizes his Amalgamation Cables to fuse himself with Nessie and the Dover Demon, forming a hybrid creature intended to annihilate Okarun, Momo, and Aira. This fusion, dubbed Serpo Dover Demon Nessie, attacks by firing high-compression water blasts from its mouth.
However, after the trio successfully evades several attacks, the fused alien depletes its water supply. As it absorbs water from its neck to reload, Okarun, Momo, and Aira deduce that targeting its neck could disrupt its ability to fire continuously. Aira uses her hair to constrict Serpo Dover Demon Nessie’s neck and prepares to strike. Yet, before she can land a blow, the creature counters with a punch, revealing that despite its bulky form, it excels in close combat thanks to the Dover Demon’s mantis shrimp-like arms.

Perceiving Momo as the greatest threat, Serpo Dover Demon Nessie shifts focus, intent on beating her to death before dissecting her body. However, as it attempts to land its strikes, Momo uses her psychic powers to repel the surrounding water, creating a forceful barrier that causes the creature’s arms to shatter from the strain of delivering full-force punches without the buoyancy of water.
Desperate, Serpo Dover Demon Nessie clamps Momo in its jaws, attempting to bite her while holding her in place, hoping she will eventually drown. Meanwhile, it begins charging another high-compression water blast, aiming to bisect her. Before it can unleash the attack, Aira’s hair once again coils around its neck, immobilizing it. Seizing the opportunity, Okarun uses the taut hair as a runway, propelling himself at high speed through the creature’s body, obliterating Serpo Dover Demon Nessie and ending the battle.
